Dragon nest Error 6, Serious Error GPK start failed solution

Did you experience a gibberish error message followed by GPK start failed error while trying to start Dragon Nest? Before you uninstall or delete any files you might want to try this solution first.

Most probably you are using a McAfee antivirus, what you should do is to turn off the Firewall and the real time Scanning. TURN IT OFF, and the relaunch Dragon nest. You do not have to uninstall Mcafee or your current antivirus, you just need to temporarily disable it every time you play.

Try it first okay, do not listen to "techie" advice without turning off your antivirus and firewall.

How to turn McAfee off? Step-by-step
1. Click the Mcafee icon which is (most probably) located in your desktop. If not search for it in your computer.
2. Click Home which is located in the right side of the Mcafee window, you will see the "Virus and Spyware Protection" and "web and email protection".

Let's disable the "Real time scanning" first. Click the box where the virus and spyware protection is located, you will be directed to new menus. Click the real time scanning option then click the turn off button. A pop up will ask you how long will you disable it, choose "restart:. You have to do this step every time you will play Dragon nest (after restarting your computer).

To turn off "Firewall", click the web and email protection. Then click firewall and click turn off. A pop up will ask you how long will you disable it, choose "restart:. You have to do this step every time you will play Dragon nest (after restarting your computer).

THEN, launch your Dragonnest.exe and it will be okay!

5. GET an Alarm clock and time your self while using the internet. Most of the time, you will forget the time while surfing the net or playing online games.

For example, pag nagdownload ka from the internet ng 100MB na file, that's 100 Mb already. Pag nanonood ka sa Youtube, you are receiving internet data. Yun yung minimeasure ng smart, globe, at pldt. Para malaman ang inyong bandwidth usage pwede kayong mag download ng app from google web store ng free bandwidth measuring apps or extentions.

Unahin natin ang BENEFIT ng Fair Usage Policy:
1. All users who are not heavy internet users will benefit from this. Persons who only check their social accounts, send e-mails and surf will benefit kasi most of the time it will not exceed 1.5/3GB per month. 
Pero bakit nga ba merong FUP? This is to guarantee na lahat ng users e magamit ang internet. Kung walang FUP, baka sa future lahat ng internet users will experience slow connection kasi ginagamit ng kokonting tao. Para yang rice hoarding o yung kukunting tao na bibilhin lahat ng rice tapos mauubusan yung ibang tao, ang resulta nun e kukunti lang ang makikinabang ng rice at yung iba e maghahati-hati sa natitira.

Hindi lamang sa Pilipinas may bandwidth limit, halos lahat ng internet providers all over the world e merong FUP policy, ang kaibahan lang e mas mataas and limit sa kanila. Ang T&T e more than 10GB ata.

1. Alam natin lahat na di na natin mapipigil ang FUP na yan. Walang legal ground (sabi ng NTC) para pigilin yun at halos lahat ng bansa e meron nun kaya dapat mag isip na tayo ng paraan para babaan ang bandwidth ng ating internet usage. Paano? 
        a. Use extentions and apps from chrome. So recently nag add ako ng 2 add ons from google web store. Adblocker at Data Compression Proxy (search nyo na lang). Para saan ito, and adblocker e inaalis nya ang mga ads sa mga websites lalo na sa you tube, ang mga ads kasi e nangangailangan ng napakaraming bandwidths so pag wala sila nakatipid ka ng internet data usage. Ang compressor naman e pinapaliit nya yung kinakailangang file para mas kunti ang data usage. Di bale LIBRE yan hehe.

      b. Iturn off nyo lahat ng auto updaters. Check nyo yung settings ng windows nyo kung naka auto update, pag ganun iturn off nyo yung auto update. Check nyo by searching (windows 8) "windows update" tapas iturn off nyo yung automatic update. Check nyo rin settings ng anti-virus kung naka auto update i turn-off nyo din. 

       c. Check for viruses and malwares, they send files without you knowing.

2. For smart and globe, asahan nyo na magkakaroon sila ng new internet plans involving bandwidths. Baka sa susunod e yung babayaran na natin e kung gaano kadaming bandwidth ang gusto natin parang load. Meron ng 3Gb, 10Gb, at 100Gb palns hehe. Ayon naman sa smart at globe e they are making new plans na para sa FUP, tipong bagong mga ideas.

3. Pag dating sa internet speed, no use na pag usapan kung ano mas maganda between smart at globe kasi depende po yan sa location. Sa amin nga wala daw signal ang SUN cell, sabi nung costumer service nila. Yung smartbro namin dito sa bahay medjo mabagal pero yung smartbro ng kaibigan ko na nasa kabilang barangay mabilis. So, most of the time location ang nagdedetermine kung ano mas mabilis. Check nyo muna sa mga internet providers kung malakas ba signal nila sa area nyo. 

4. BTW, so far di pa applicable yung FUP sa prepaid plans ng smart (unlisurfs).
